Can you tell me what happened?

I believe you were going through a shock. But since you were in a hospital, it could have just been a paranormal spirit. It is a death place for many. But due to all I have learned and researched about intellegent spirits, i never learned anything about anything having to do with memory loss. I believe that your brain may have dissconnected, which is rare in many cases, and it only happens during stress, shock, or confusion. If I were you, I would tell a physiologist. Or maybe a Paranormal Expert or a Medium. They excel in this. Even reading your scary gives me the gitters! I surely hope this helps :)
