Pulmonary Stenosis in my 2 year old son,?

My 2 year old had corrective surgery twice for severe pulmonary stenosis, once at 2 days old and once when he was 5 months, he has regular check ups at Royal Brompton Hospital, but I would really like advice about whether or not he'll live a normal active life? Now he's getting older I wonder about the future, he's perfectly active at the moment!! Very cheeky chap, but I wonder and also he's always ill with colds and infections and general childhood illnesses, is this due to his heart defect?
