Can a soldier appeal to a corrective training giving by a nco?

Corrective training has to go with the punishment so if you feel this has nothign to do with the punishment you can always seek IG, like when my 1SGT wanted the barracks painted he tried to get his soldiers to do it for corrective training well it had nothing to do with what they did wrong so they went to IG.
