Will this disqualify me from the Army?

Audrey we all have done insane things as children. You ask me its part of growing up. I have done the same thing jumping off roof-tops and stairs, sticking marbles in my nose, etc. You are not DQ if you have had eye surgery. If your vision is good and you past the eye test, then i see no reason you will be DQ. The rules for going into the Academy or Officer are different. You might have to get a medical waiver but i doubt that if your vision is ok. Talk to your local recruiter by phone and they can tell you if anything has changed recently. The qualifications are always changing.
